Dexter

Just what I need – another TV show to get hooked on.  Fortunately, I’ve lost interest in Heroes and Grey’s Anatomy, so there’s room for another. And that would be Dexter.

The good part is that I’m catching up on a few years, so I can watch the first few seasons all the way through. Which is way better than having to wait from week to week (and subscribe to Showtime).

But the coolest part is that, while set in Miami, much of the filming is actually in LA and Long Beach. And today I drove through the “Dexter Neighborhood” of Los Altos, just off the 405 freeway. Heck, I’ve swung by the nearby Trader Joe’s many times, and never knew Dexter had been filming nearby.

I caught a few still shots off of my TV then set out to see if I could find those same spots. Here’s how it turned out.
